The team at The Mowbray put us at ease throughout the whole day and the venue and staff exceeded all expectations. And we had high expectations to begin with! The best day of our lives!

When we were planning our wedding we had quite a specific vision of the venue and of the day, we wanted something small, atmospheric and relaxed with great food and we could not have picked a better venue to fit this than The Mowbray. We initially attended an open day and when I walked in and saw the space and the lighting, I knew straight away it was the venue for us. I didn't tell Chris at the time but I nearly burst into tears because it fit what I wanted so well!

We had the most wonderful time with you - our wedding truly was the most magical day and that was so much down to how cleverly and kindly you worked with us before and during the ceremony. Our guests were full of praise for the venue and the staff, and I think the best compliment we can give is how relaxed we felt.

The Mowbray Feasting tables are a sight to behold... The reclaimed timber tops atop the wrought iron legs effortlessly set a scene for your feast to unfold.

Over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday the 20th & 21st of January we hosted a beautiful 2 day event - our Winter Open House was full of amazing guests, beautiful winter light, delicious lunch, coffee, cakes & cocktails

Jon and I had a vision of what we wanted our wedding to be; informal, industrial/rustic but still very romantic, and The Mowbray absolutely nailed it. We first came across The Mowbray when we attended an "Up on the Roof" event years ago and just knew instantly that we wanted our wedding there (before we were even engaged, I might add).

The Mowbray team made the whole day run so smooth and everyone commented on how good the venues was throughout the whole day including the meal which was top notch! All staff worked tirelessly throughout the night and service was quick at the bar even when very very busy.

Our Open House events are a great time to pop in to explore The Mowbray and The Chimney House and have a relaxed wander around - a lovely dose of inspiration and all of the good vibes around planning an event with us!

Our Wedding at The Chimney House and The Mowbray was wonderful. We wouldn't change a thing! We live in Malaysia so faced the challenge of organising a wedding from the other side of the world. However, Lucy and the Team made the process so easy!
