Time & Place
The Mowbray has a rich and interesting heritage that spans 131 years - which just resonates around the building...It gives a really special ambience that makes all of our guests feel at ease and allows them to wander through the building and onto our terrace to discover their perfect moment.
We are blessed that our wedding couples always pick to work with some incredible photographers who always seem to capture a different side of The Mowbray - so it's always fascinating to see what secrets they unlock.

We were recently contacted by Sapna Odlin with some incredible shots of an incredible wedding that happened at The Mowbray last year. It was the celebration of the very beautiful Anna & her husband Tom.

The Terrace
Anna & Tom scooped such a beautiful Sheffield day - so our roof terrace was in full swing - and made for the most perfect setting for Anna to make her speech in front of the huge arch window. We love the tones that Sapna has captured of the sky - it almost has a LA vibe to it...
Quiet Moments
Wedding days don't need to be hectic and we wholeheartedly champion relaxing, calm vibes throughout the day and into the evening... We absolutely adore this moment of calm that Sapna has captured of a sun filled conversation between a mum and her little one...
Styling
Our tables are always styled with seasonal blooms and candles housed in antique brass candlesticks. It's our signature style. When guests arrive - we always have the candles dancing and flickering and the tables elegantly perfect to really build that beautiful anticipation of the Wedding Feast.
Feasting
For us - our favourite moment is when our guests sit around our Feasting Tables - it's the best thing to see everyone in amongst the blooms and candles - being served up seasonal feasting plates of deliciousness straight from The Mowbray Kitchen.
Dance & Dusk
Dancing under our antique chandelier after a day of sun, feasting and cocktails is pretty special... It's amazing how time vanishes during a wedding day with us - the building morphs and changes from day into dusk with such tranquil ease you hardly notice it happening...
