We pride ourselves on providing an inspiring space for meetings, conferences and away days. We welcomed Thea Pharmaceuticals to The Mowbray for a day of meetings, followed by beautifully curated supper for their clients, taking care of every little detail.
It was a pleasure to host Thea Pharmaceuticals client conference last week at The Mowbray. Martin, the organiser invited 12 of his Sheffield based clients to join him for an afternoon presentation. We looked after Martin and his guests in real Mowbray style; fresh teas & delicious local coffee, a plentiful supply of biscuits and Emma’s famous Victoria Sponge! Guarantee to be the most delightful pm pick-me-up for your clients.
Day to Evening
Late afternoon, Martin and his guests popped out for a stroll around a sunny Neepsend before returning for supper. Our team got straight to work on transforming the meeting room into our famous candlelit feasting hall!
Martin and his team welcomed an additional 40 guests for evening presentations and guest speakers. Full use of screen & AV was ready to roll! Post presentations, we served The House Feast! A magnificent 3 course feast with a sublime wines. We had every last detail covered.

“The meeting on Wednesday night was one of my favourites I have ever organised. The venue is spectacular and worked so well for the small afternoon group of 12 and the larger evening group of almost 50. I cannot fault the food – so much so that I am determined to bring everyone I know back to sample the cooking at the earliest opportunity.
The main memory that will stick with me, however, is the helpfulness and attentiveness of the staff, which when running a high stress meeting meant I could concentrate on my tasks knowing that everything else would be arranged to the highest standard.
It genuinely made it a pleasure to be there knowing that this one will be remembered by my customers for years to come.”
