A Light & Bright Place for Business

So many Meeting Rooms are hosted underground or with no natural light... The Mowbray, Sheffield is housed on the ground floor in a building built in 1889 with three enormous arch windows that let in great floods of natural sunlight throughout the day all year long (when the sun is out!) We've also renovated our triple height roof to include large windows for an even brighter boost of light.

Early morning the sun comes through the left hand side arch and bathes the front of The Mowbray in a soft warm glow to greet morning Meeting Room guests - perfect for breakfast and a good mood start to the day.

Later in the afternoon, just after lunch, the sun comes through the centre arch and finally through the right hand side to cast a steady stream of golden light to perk up energy levels and boost moods towards the end of the day.

A Matter of Balance

For those times when the light levels is high we have magnificent drapes - made from the softest green velvet with leather push pads to draw across for a softer feel to the day. 

Roof Terrace

On the first floor we have all of the Sheffield natural light and fresh air you could wish for on our private roof terrace - the perfect place for a quiet moment in the sun, interactive workshops or after work drinks served from The Mowbray Bar! During the Summer months we get a full day of sunlight - it's a real Sheffield sun trap!
