“When we were planning our wedding we had quite a specific vision of the venue and of the day, we wanted something small, atmospheric and relaxed with great food and we could not have picked a better venue to fit this than The Mowbray.
We initially attended an open day and when I walked in and saw the space and the lighting, I knew straight away it was the venue for us. I didn't tell Chris at the time but I nearly burst into tears because it fit what I wanted so well!
The day itself was just perfect! We were keen to make sure our guests had a lovely time and really good food, and The Mowbray definitely delivered and exceeded our expectations on the food.
Everything was absolutely delicious and we had so many guests telling us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding - a month later our friends still mention to us how much they enjoyed the food, which we were so pleased with! We will definitely be back for a supper club or two.
We were also very reassured by how many events the team had run previously, they were all so happy to answer questions and make sure everything was how we wanted and they ran the day really smoothly, they are clearly a well oiled machine!
Chris and I would happily do the day all over again and we would absolutely recommend The Chimney House and The Mowbray to other couples."
