An Epically Beautiful Day
Rebecca and Carl’s romantic Chimney House Ceremony went beyond beautiful. Abundant meadow florals, English foxgloves reaching for the air, soft candle light as far as the eye could see and the most beautifully styled wedding party you can imagine.
Delightful Bites
We hosted 50 of their close friends and family for their beautiful ceremony at The Chimney House followed by local craft ales and fizz with fresh raspberries to celebrate, plus delightful summer nibbles from The Mowbray Kitchen - the perfect mid afternoon bite!
Post Ceremony Snacks
Hot smoked salmon on toast with pickled fennel & shaved radishes, Serrano ham & roast red pepper, wild mushroom & gorgonzola arancini, with the prettiest little homemade doughnuts tossed in lavender & lemon sugar.
Meadow Floral Dreams
The attention to beautiful detail began with the flowers; soft dusky shades of summer curated by ‘Of The Wild’. Perfectly matched with Rebecca and her bridesmaid's gowns, exquisite floral applique in sophisticated pastel tones with soft organza silks - a totally stunning combination. The Groomsmen nailed the immaculate tailoring, 3 piece grey tweed, completed by a pop of floral with Liberty print ties and beautiful buttonholes.
Laid Back Beauty
After the dreamy Chimney House Ceremony, we welcomed Rebecca, Carl and 60 of their guests to The Mowbray for a relaxing afternoon of celebration and feasting. We set 3 gorgeous mini feasting tables and a top table - just under our 1940’s antique chandelier, giving guests a feeling of togetherness and laid back family feasting, all ready for their House Feast to be served!

Mowbray-made focaccia with Yorkshire salted butter, whipped ricotta with roasted garlic, fresh marinated anchovies, little gem lettuce & Yorkshire buttermilk dressing.
The Main Event
Picanha Steak served with Salsa Verde and Yorkshire broad bean, spinach & feta M’Hanncha.
Served with
Isle of Wight tomatoes with fresh oregano, cabernet sauvignon vinegar & rapeseed oil English asparagus chargrilled and dressed with lemon, Jersey Royals roasted with thyme & rosemary.
Pudding
Classic Summer berry pavlova with a sweet treat to finish - Mowbray Mallow :: Pink grapefruit & mint marshmallows.
Roof Top Romance
The wonderful Ellie Grace Photography captured seriously beautiful rooftop moments, below magical festoon lighting and moonlit skies. Just, dreamy!
An Evening Nibble
Later into the evening, a further 20 evening guests joined us for dancing, cocktails and more tasty nibbles! we served Rebecca & Carls guests our tasty ‘Workshop Bites’ for some casual evening grazing between hitting the dance floor!

Mowbray made bread & salted butter, house mix olives, smokey Mowbray roasted nuts, cured meats with homemade pickles & capers, House smoked salmon with dill creme fraiche. Pork & fennel sausage roll with black garlic mayo, grilled aubergine & courgette rolled up with whipped feta and caramelised onion & cheddar puff pinwheels.
