"From getting food to take away all the way back in lockdown we knew that if we were to get married The Mowbray was definitely one place we would be looking at.
When we were engaged we attended and open house and knew instantly this was the venue for us! We love Kelham Island and loved the stories behind all the reclaimed furniture, the vibe was perfect!
From the first contact of booking right up until after the wedding day the staff at The Mowbray could not have been more helpful! They were onboard with every idea we had including our own personalised Spanish theme menu to remind us of getting engaged in Barcelona (we are still dreaming about the food now!), a saxophone player during arrival drinks and a Photo Booth during the party.
From the minute we walked in The Mowbray on the day we were blown away by how beautifully it was decorated and how perfect it was for us. The team saved us canapés for after we had finished with some photos, and ensured our arrival drinks were topped up! Throughout the day they made sure we ran on time and constantly checked if there was anything else we needed!
They truly made us feel so special...
During the party we had glow sticks and sunglasses for our guests which I had taken to the venue in cardboard boxes expecting the groomsmen to hand out but the Mowbray placed them in beautiful pallets for guests to help themselves which was just above and beyond.
We cannot thank The Mowbray enough for helping us to have the most perfect day!!"
