A sublime ‘mid-month’ dip into an epic flavourful feast! We think this is the perfect Friday night treat - an immense rolling supper that previews one of the menus from our new season menu. An excellent supper club line-up with all of the tastes, tones and flavours - expertly and delicately balanced - served with plentitude.
This particular House Feast is an ode to all things spice. We grill, toast & blend our spice mixes & pastes to our own recipes which gives this real depth of flavour, with freshness from fresh herbs & citrus.
ON THE TABLE
Mowbray-made grilled flatbreads (v, ve, g)
Tahini labneh with our own zaatar (a blend of toasted sesame, sumac & thyme) (v)
Roasted tomatoes with chickpeas and preserved lemon & chilli dressing (v, ve)
These dishes will start your meal, and will remain on the table as the main is served
FROM THE GRILL
Lamb rump shawarma, marinated with toasted spices & yoghurt
Church Hill Farm chicken with sticky date & pomegranate molasses
For our vegetarian & vegan guests: aubergine marinated with date & pomegranate molasses (v, ve)
All served with chermoula; parsley, coriander, garlic & lemon blended with toasted ras el hanout & oil (v, ve)
Grilled British cabbage with house-made harissa & feta (v)
Freekeh & Israeli cous cous served warm & simply dressed (v, g)
Cucumbers dressed with lemon, olive oil, fresh dill & mint (v, ve)
Polenta & almond cake with lemon and cardamom syrup, with greek yoghurt (v, contains nuts)

As ever - The Mowbray Bar will have curated a clutch of specialist cocktails designed to complement the Feasting menu - we’re already infusing, brewing and concocting a deliciously bountiful array of flavours, tones and textures to surprise and delight you for this super special Friday Supper Club! We’ll also have our full bar menu available as well.
How To Book
Arrivals are from 18.30 if you’d like to start early at the bar!
We’ll be inviting you to take your seats for dinner at 19.30 - with the Feast beginning at 19.45.
Just let us know if you’ll be joining us early - otherwise we’ll see you from 19.00.
All bookings are through our online shop - just leave us a note in the comments box at checkout if you’d like to join us earlier and if you have any dietary requirements we need to know about.
