Come and see us for an afternoon well spent...If love is on your mind and beautiful wedding vibes are your thing or even if you just love coffee, cocktails and cake!
We are opening the doors on the afternoon of Saturday 9th of October for a super special afternoon dedicated to LOVE - The Mowbray way…
We’ll be open between 2pm and 7pm - so pop in, stay a while, take a seat - have a chat, take a wander… It’s a sublimely inspirational romantic afternoon of laid back happiness - simply dedicated to exploring, discovering and making plans - or just having a coffee and a cocktail!
We’ll transition into a lovely little evening from 7pm with a special edition evening event ‘Cocktails & Tapas’ - kicking off with Happy Hour - naturally. You'll need to book a seat at this event.
Peruse & Discover
Perfect to come and have a look if you’ve never been inside The Mowbray and also the perfect chance to come in again if you have already booked your wedding - and of course if you've already celebrated with us - you'll be so welcome to come back and have a drink!
The Mowbray will be part set and styled for a Wedding Feast - and it is a great chance to come and taste cocktails from our Wedding Edit and sample our new Punch Bowls. The rest of The Mowbray will be for you to take a seat amongst our trademark flowers and candles, visit Mow’s Coffee Hangout or just order a cocktail or three!
You’ll also be able to nibble on sample treats from The Mowbray Kitchen and have a little look at our wedding favours and table treats, hand scripted stationary and pretty things for your day and at home.
The Chimney House - a short skip around the corner will also be open for you to get inspired for ceremonies, wedding feasts and all of the lovely events and treats that go alongside this magical time. No appointment needed. But we'll be only open until 6pm as we have a Private Event that evening!

Simply let us know you’ll be joining us by selecting your free ‘drop in’ tickets via our online shop. On the same drop down menu there is an option to book a 30 minute guided viewing if you'd like to spend some time chatting to us.

Everyone who registers with us will receive a taster cup of house punch when you arrive - and you’ll also be entered into the mix to win Toast Fizz On The House if you do celebrate your big day with us!
Walk-ins on the day are welcome - but we would prefer you to register - so we can gauge our numbers!
An Afternoon of Lovely Things
Guided Viewings
If you’d rather have a guided tour and the chance to ask allllll of the questions - you can book an appointment to spend a little time with Lucy - our Head of House - and Ellie our Events Assistant who can guide you through celebrations at The Mowbray - so you can chat food, drink and what makes a wedding at our place so special…
Each guided viewing is 30 minutes long and can be booked via our online shop.
Obviously you are more than welcome to wander around and take a look at your own time as well - just make sure to register!
The Bar
Of course - The Bar will be open - we’ll be mixing and shaking cocktails from our Wedding Edit so you can grab a seat and enjoy Saturday the right way! Grab a seat and stay as little or as long as you’d like! There’s plenty of places to sit and soak up the vibes!
The Cake
The Mowbray Kitchen will be presenting The Mowbray Wedding Cake. Mowbray wedding cakes are magical. Freshly made in The Mowbray’s Kitchen they are as light as a dream and indulgently divine. Designed to match The Mowbray - they are elegantly luxurious with a real Sheffield touch! Dressed with perfectly picked florals from one of our house florists for a wild gypsy hedgerow feel with cascades of romance and wanderlust.
Mow’s Coffee Hangout
We’ll be joined by Mow’s - our little inner city coffee shop. Sam will be serving up an afternoon coffee hit - and chatting about our adventures in coffee on Arundel Street - just after we celebrate our first birthday! You’ll also be able to pair your coffee with a bun or two from The Mowbray Kitchen.
Up On The Roof
We’re wishing for a sunny spectacular - so planning to have our first floor roof top hideaway - ‘Up On the Roof’ available for early autumn sunning and drinking… In case of rain - you’ll be able to pop up and have a peek! Up On The Roof has been spectacular this year - cocktails, BBQ - a perfect place for photos, toasts and hideaway moments.
Gifts & Nice Things
We’ll be previewing some of our custom made gifts and table treats - gorgeous little items to add even more beauty into your day and treasures for your home. From house brew 'favours' to hand scripted menus - there’s some lovely things to have a look at!
Dresses and Blooms
The very lovely White Yard will be available for a chat about all things gorgeous in the dress department - and Cat from Betty Bloom will be showing off some of her wild and glorious blooms...
Stay Longer For Cocktails & Tapas!
If you like - roll straight through the afternoon into our evening event Cocktails & Tapas...Starting at 7pm with a 241 cocktail flurry and a morish little Tapas menu that you can order as much or as little as you like from! Last orders for food will be 8.30 and the bar will be open till 11pm.
