We're Back!
We're really excited to be able to invite our guests to join us for this special Sunday Roast. If you had booked a place for our Mother's Day Roast in March - then we are delighted to be able to transfer you onto this event.
Doing Things We Should Have Been Doing!
Mowbray Supper and Lunch Clubs are all about catching up on all of the GREAT things we should be doing in 2020. We're going to be hosting a series of events that serve up excellent food and bring bright and breezy vibes to kick start some happiness back into 2020!
The Menu
ON THE TABLE
Mowbray-made loaves with Yorkshire butter (v, g)
House made ricotta seasoned with black pepper, fine herbs & lemon zest (v)
THE MAIN EVENT
Roast Yorkshire sirloin of beef - served medium rare
With proper gravy (of course) (g)
For our vegetarian and vegan guests:
‘Gardener’s Pie’ - lentils braised with smoked garlic & thyme, topped with a root veg gratin (v, ve)
Hendo’s & onion gravy (v, ve)
SIDES TO SHARE
Yorkshire puddings (v, g)
Roasted cauliflower cheese (v, g)
Maple glazed parsnips (v, ve)
Mixed British kale & cavolo nero (v, ve)
Perfect Mowbray roasties (v, ve)
TO FINISH
Hazelnut treacle tart, served plated with a big luxury dollop of Yorkshire creme fraiche and jugs of homemade custard (v, g, n)
PLUS! An all-butter shortbread to go with a cup of tea or coffee! (g)

We will aim to serve your children’s food with or shortly after your nibbles are served

How to Book
Drop us a line to events@themowbray.co.uk to book your table. We're taking bookings of tables of 6, 4 and tables for 2.
We are incredibly fortunate that The Mowbray is a large, airy, well ventilated venue with lots of floor space - meaning we can space our tables and guests with maximum comfort.
Guests from a maximum of two households/support bubbles only should book a table for 2, 4 or 6. We will ask to confirm that all members of your table are not in a group required to isolate. We will also ask you to confirm that no members of the party have experienced Covid symptoms.
If you are booking as a couple you may be seated on a shared table 1 meter plus apart from another couple.
As usual we'll ask you to provide all guests dietary requirements so we can look after you perfectly!
If you wish to book for a greater number than 6, let us know! We may need to split your party on to separate tables
Some dishes will be for your party to share; please let us know how many households are sharing your table, and how many from each.

Preordering Drinks
We've matched our Roast menu with some real treats from The Mowbray Bar - and we'll ask you to preorder drinks at the time of booking.
We'll send you a menu to choose from and we also intend to offer table service for extra and spontaneous drinks orders on the day!
Covid-19
Since the government announced the re-opening of hospitality venues we have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that you can dine with us safely whilst still being able to enjoy the atmosphere we offer at our Supper and Lunch Clubs. You can view our COVID Charter here for more information on how we are keeping both you and our staff safe.
We are taking all steps outlined in our Charter incredibly seriously and we ask that you do too.
