Take a break from the British Summertime - and join us alongside Tenaya Wine for a summery ode to the bustling Pinxtos bars and incredible foodie hangouts of San Sebastián! Delicious food, incredible wines and all the good vibes for a high Summer Thursday evening...

A selection of deliciously seasonal nibbles, tapas & larger plates to share all inspired by our travels to the eating capital of Spain and we can’t wait to share some of our favourite dishes with you! 

We’ll use a mixture of fantastic British produce from Organic North, our local fishmonger & butcher, as well as some special imported provisions from Brindisa.

The Feast

As usual the feast is made from scratch in The Mowbray Kitchen from the very freshest and top notch - so expect a delicious evening of great flavours and Mowbray blends...

PINTXOS 

‘Banderillas’ - guindilla pepper, anchovy & gordal olive 

Yellow-fin tuna with alioli & piquillo pepper (g)

Potato & onion tortilla (v)

Morcilla black sausage with confit apple (g)

With Severn mushrooms instead of Morcilla for our vegetarian guests 

RACIONES (larger plates to share)

Valencia melon with Tewkesbury cucumbers, mint & sheep’s cheese (v)

Marinated & roasted sirloin with mojo verde; a hearty salsa of charred spring onions, chilli, toasted cumin & coriander

Halibut pil-pil; tender fish cooked with plenty of garlic & Arbequina extra olive oil 

For our vegetarian guests: Piper’s sausage braised with white beans & peppers (v, g)

‘Patatas a lo pobre’; Potatoes baked with onions, bay & white wine (v)

TO FINISH

Traditional crustless Basque cheesecake with roasted white peaches (v)

The Bar

Alongside a beautiful wine selection - The Mowbray Bar has curated a clutch of specialist cocktails designed to complement the feasting menu. We’ll also have our full bar menu available as well. 

How To Book

Arrivals are from 19.00 

We’ll be inviting you to take your seats for dinner at 19.30 and the Feast beginning at 19.45
