What Our Weekly Supper Club Means...
Although lock-down and the restrictions have brought massive challenges and forced us to essentially rethink our core business (!) the silver lining has been the freedom to curate weekly supper club menus for a smaller number of guests. Our House Events have been really special since we reopened, creating a more intimate atmosphere for couples and small groups.
The FEAST series of supper clubs was originally envisioned as a true seasonal fest- seeking out brilliant produce and preparing it simply and deliciously.
Our FEAST menu on the 2nd October is set to be an absolute celebration of organic produce!
Organic North
We have teamed up with ‘Organic North’ based at Smithfield Market in Manchester. They source amazing produce from around the country, and selected European growers! All produce is certified organic by the soil association, and because of the unique ordering process there is very little wastage. We have crates of organic vegetables from all over the country, padron peppers & quince from the French markets heading to us. The menu is revealed below!
A Taste of Early Autumn
Seasonality - it's where it's at for us. There's no better way to pay homage to the land and the seas around us than to plunge wholeheartedly into the joy of the harvest. The Early Autumn Feast is a flat cap raise to the countryside and all that is abundant and right on point to be enjoyed at that very moment.
This special menu will be inspired by the hedgerows, the lakes, rivers and seas just as they release their final course of plentitude...
Food lovers - this will be run as a limited edition Supper Club - and we'd love you to join us for this glorious celebration of food!
Cocktail Hour
Want to start your evening a little earlier? We'd love you to join us for a pre-dinner cocktail hour! Arrive between 6 - 7pm to receive house spiced nuts & olives with a round of drinks

How to Book
Secure your seats through our online shop.
We're taking bookings for tables of 2, 3, 4, 5 up to 6.
We are incredibly fortunate that The Mowbray is a large, airy, well ventilated venue with lots of floor space - meaning we can space our tables and guests with maximum comfort.
Please be sure to bring your face masks - which must be worn at all times unless you're sitting at your table to eat and drink.
Guests can book a maximum of a table of 6. We will ask to confirm that all members of your table are not in a group required to isolate. We will also ask you to confirm that no members of the party have experienced Covid symptoms.
If you are booking as a couple you may be seated on a shared table 1 meter plus apart from another couple.
As usual we'll ask you to provide all guests dietary requirements so we can look after you perfectly!
If you wish to book for a greater number than 6, let us know! We may need to split your party on to separate tables
Some dishes will be for your party to share; please let us know how many households are sharing your table, and how many from each.
If you have any questions about Covid guidance and dining out - please just drop us a line - we want to make sure you feel comfortable and excited about coming to dine at The Mowbray!
Preordering Drinks
We match our Supper Clubs with some real treats from The Mowbray Bar - and we'll ask you to preorder drinks at the time of booking.
We'll send you a menu to choose from and we also intend to offer table service for extra and spontaneous drinks orders on the day!
Covid-19
Since the government announced the re-opening of hospitality venues we have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that you can dine with us safely whilst still being able to enjoy the atmosphere we offer at our Supper and Lunch Clubs. You can view our COVID Charter here for more information on how we are keeping both you and our staff safe.
We are taking all steps outlined in our Charter incredibly seriously and we ask that you do too.
We can't wait to welcome you back to The Mowbray and look forward to meeting any new faces too!
