5 Year Anniversary!
Join us on the 21st of October - for a very last minute and ‘surprise’ (!!) Italian Canteen!
This feast is inspired by our very first canteen which took place - if you can even believe it - a whopping 5 years ago!! We hope you’ll join us - for this special anniversary edition - and be sure to get your tickets straight away as we’re expecting a quick sell out for this one.
Our famous focaccia & decadent house ricotta to start, followed by our chef’s favourite; Tender pork coated with crispy breadcrumbs, dressed with capers, lemon & parsley with a generous helping of pasta in our delicious gutsy Mowbray Made tomato sauce.
It is quite literally taste sensational - and marvellously matched with some of the big reds we have in the drinks cabinet behind the bar at the moment.
This is the perfect feast for lovers of vibrancy, taste and flavour and for anyone who values full tum satisfaction as the sign of a feast well enjoyed…Canteen is always set to a sublime soundtrack and the vibe is bustling and joyful…

Mowbray-made Focaccia (v, g)

Pork escalope ‘milanese’ - with capers, parsley & lemon (g)
Trofie pasta in Mowbray tomato sauce and basil (g)

Radicchio, gorgonzola & pickled portabella (v)
Roasted Bedlam squash with sage & oregano butter (v)
Hazelnut torta with mascarpone & bitter chocolate (v, contains nuts)

Negroni Sbagliato £8.50
Campari bitter, Cocchi sweet vermouth & prosecco
A wonderful little mistake - an Italian staple created entirely by accident that withstood the test of time. Robust and luxurious flavours wonderfully balanced with a little fizz.
Limoncello Spritz £8.50
Limoncello liqueur, Prosecco topped with soda water
If you’ve ever enjoyed a ‘Aperol Spritz’ then this one is not to be missed.
Campari Sour £9
Campari bitter, simple syrup, lemon juice, grapefruit juice & Better’s foaming bitters
A complex mix of flavours shaken together to make one delicious drink with a bit of a punch.
White peach puree simply topped with prosecco
Two simple ingredients - Delicate, refreshing and fruity.
Perfect little after dinner sippers - served as a double, over ice.

Arrivals are from 18.30 if you’d like to start early at the bar!
We’ll be inviting you to take your seats for dinner at 19.30 - with the Feast beginning at 19.45.
Just let us know if you’ll be joining us early - otherwise we’ll see you from 19.00
