There is free street parking on Mowbray Street and Neepsend Lane, Burton Road - there’s also a number of car parks, along with direction on how to find us via the link just below.
We always encourage people to walk, ride bikes, hop on the tram when you come into the area - but wishing you safe travels however you arrive!

When you arrive check your name on the door - if you have pre-ordered Festive Food - you’ll be shown where to collect it from (just at the side of the bar)

The time slots of 11-2 and 2-5 are ‘relaxed’ to give us an idea of how many people are coming at a certain time. You are welcome to call in anytime in your chosen time slot...
Walk-ins
Pre-registered and 'waiting list' guests will be given priority access - if you haven’t registered then you may need to wait to come in depending on guest numbers we already have in the building.
The Mowbray has a certain capacity - so we’d like to be able to keep things as comfortable and lovely as possible for our guests and super positive for our traders!

Festive Food Pre Orders
Pre-orders for Mowbray Turkey Butties and Christmas Pasties closed at 19.00 on Thursday 24th of November.
If you have ordered then thank you very much!
This has been very popular - so it is unlikely we'll have butties and pasties for sale on the day!
If you have pre-ordered food - when you arrive - come straight to the entrance and check in - you'll be given a token and shown where to collect your order from!

The Christmas Bar will of course be open and we’re serving Christmas cocktails all day!

Each of our makers and creators trading with us on Sunday 27th have kindly gifted a lovely treat to make up a resplendent Christmas Box. It is £5 ‘a strip’ to enter to hopefully raise as much money as possible for the Whirlow Hall Farm Charity. You can of course gift as much as you like - all money will go directly to the charity!

We’ve gifted each of our indie co’s joining us for our Christmas Market a free space to trade to allow a festive boost to their day! Come and buy gifts, wreaths, Christmas cheese, lovely little bits for your home, to wear and your Festive table to really get you in the mood for hunkering down and celebrating this most magic time of the year!
We’re delighted to present some incredible people doing wonderful things that bring with them a graceful beauty through their work and personalities... We're really proud to have such a lovely gathering that hopefully ticks all of your boxes in terms of Christmas gifting.
We’re delighted to be joined by Lesley, the wonderful founder and creative mind behind Essence and Alchemy. Expect seasonal and calming candles, calming and winter tea-light kits, incense sticks and cones, ‘those’ bath salts in their gorgeous amber bottle and copies of her beautiful book - ‘Fragrance Your Home’.
Fans of Becky’s work will have snapped up the gorgeous coffee sippers she made for us last Christmas - so we’re excited to see some of her new work! There’ll be bud vases, little pourers, dishes and lots of ceramic beauty for your home and Christmas table!
Thrown from a single wheel out of a small studio in Sheffield’s Antiques Quarter - each piece is beautiful and truly unique.
Betty’s Flower Club for Christmas Wreaths
Selling the most gorgeously handcrafted Christmas wreaths for your doors and thresholds - you’ll also be able to have a chat to Cat to order a bespoke creation to pick up nearer to Christmas. You’ll also be able to get your hands on some beautiful festive centrepieces including some magical Christmas florals.
Georgie Marnie & Georgie Marnie Stationary
Georgie is an illustrator & designer based in Sheffield and launched her business, Georgie Marnie, in April 2021. You’ll be able to buy her playful, colourful & relatable prints, cards, stickers, tote bags at the Market. Her work combines fun colour schemes and inspiration from day to day life and her positive & fun illustrated pieces spark joy - the perfect Christmas gifts!
This year Georgie has expanded her offering with her new business, Georgie Marnie Stationery - a bespoke stationery design and illustration service that specialises in creating luxury, designed, handcrafted stationery for special weddings and events. You’ll be able to have a chat with Georgie about her gorgeous creations and how she can create beautiful, one of a kind stationery just for you!
So excited to welcome Porter Brook Deli to The Mowbray! They will be selling a delicious selection of their best selling cheeses at the Market - some absolute treats from both local and from the continent. There will also be a fine selection of accompaniments for cheese along with some of their favourite gifty items perfect for foodies at Christmas!
We're really excited to welcome Luiza back to The Mowbray - she will be selling her gorgeous Christmas cards, hand printed art and paper goods.
Beth uses a combination of textiles and precious metals to create her handmade jewellery. Beth's pieces include big bold recycled rope necklaces made using knotting techniques and also more sentimental recycled silver and gold pendants and earrings which are made using the lost wax and sand cast processes.
We're super excited to be welcoming Sparse Vintage to The Mowbray for the first time - we met James & Lucy at another market this Summer...Their collective eye is just beautiful - and we're literally chomping at the bit to see what treasures they bring to the Christmas Market... We extended the invitation to bring a hand chosen edit of 'what to wear at Christmas' - and there has been talk of fabulous gold, sequins, silks and velvet pieces which will be chosen with grace and beauty for all in mind.
Sparse is a collaboration between James Easter and Lucy Moran, who met whilst volunteering at St Luke's Vintage shop in Broomhill and bonded over their shared love of vintage clothing. As they both already source and collect vintage clothes and homeware with a passion bordering on necessity, combining forces felt like the most natural next step. James has a very creative background in interior and costume design and Lucy has been championing second hand shopping since 2015. Sparse Vintage is so excited to be invited to The Mowbray's Christmas Market event and will be bringing a specially curated 'What to wear at Christmas' edit of beautiful, quality vintage and pre-loved clothing and accessories to get you in the festive spirit! We look forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones!
Mow's is our lockdown baby - and is now a flourishing little inner city coffee hangout! Come and see us at the front of Laundry for Hair at Sellers Wheel, 151 Arundel Street - serving up excellent coffee and anytime eating seven days a week.
Our goal is a 'coffee first' cafe experience with a beautiful but pretense free coffee menu that features guest coffees and local house favourites - such as Dark Woods.
Everything is chosen by hand and an exacting eye and has a great story behind it. We spend a lot of time building relationships with some of the most interesting roasters locally and in the UK and around the world to bring you new and diverse tastes and flavours some of which you won't find in many parts of the UK. We tend to buy in small batches so when it's gone it's gone - but you'll always have new coffee to taste and we have new stories to tell...
At The Christmas Market Mow's will be setting up shop 'Up On The Roof' if the weather is kind to bring a beautiful coffee experience from The Cabin. There's all sorts of goodies to buy - and we have all of your Sunday favs as well as some especially sinful 'spiked' coffee and chocolate to get you in the Christmas spirit including...

The Mowbray Snug
We’ll also be hosting The Mowbray Snug - appointments only to chat about future fun at The Mowbray and The Chimney House. There’s also the chance to pick up wine for your Christmas table, cocktails to gift, Mowbray Made Christmas Pears (sweet pears, pickled with white wine, rosemary & star anise), Christmas Candles and Luiza Holub prints of The Mowbray and The Chimney House.
The Mowbray x Essence & Alchemy Christmas Candle
We’re super excited to introduce you to our Christmas Candle made with absolute love by Lesley from Essence & Alchemy. Glögg warming gently on the stove, evergreen trees and wreaths decorated with dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks, the Festive aromatherapy candle is a traditional yuletide citrus and spice scent. Infused with grounding cinnamon and clove, joyful orange, lemon to cleanse and a hint of winter spruce to bring festive spirit to your home - you’ll also find a slight smokey tone hovering gently - anyone who knows The Mowbray incense created by Essence & Alchemy will know what we mean!
Hand-poured into a reusable amber glass jar + crackling wood-wick for a warming glow with a gold metal lid and handcrafted glass-fired gold detail for decoration.

Christmas Feasting
So looking forward to The Mowbray Christmas Butty - packed full of British Turkey and crammed with stuffing, cranberry and bread sauce - this is the ultimate taste of the season and will be available as a pre-order and as a limited ‘buy on the day’ as a Christmas special during the market. We’ll also have a delicious Christmas Pasty - a festive ode to Homity - with caramelised onions, potato & cheddar. Take a seat if you like - at one of our Feasting Tables and settle in…
There’ll be our famous Mowbray Mince Pies (made famous through how many we sold during the lockdown Christmas !!) and other treats from The Mowbray Kitchen - perfect to pair with a Christmas tipple or a boozy (or none boozy) hot choccie!
Christmas Tipples
The Mowbray Bar is already preparing the most delicious infusions and homebrews for our Christmas season this year - we’ll have some magic little tipples for you to enjoy at the Market and we’ll have our Christmas Sharing Cocktails for you to enjoy with friends around our Feasting Tables.
We’ll also have boozy (and none-boozy) hot chocs and naughty coffees with a spike of festive liqueur if you fancy it - plus all of your favourites from the Sunday coffee menu too thanks to Mow’s - who will be hosting ‘Mow’s On The Roof’ and a special Christmas Coffee Shop with all the lovely gifts for the coffee lover in your life!
We’ll be selling Christmas Cocktails to enjoy at home to keep you in good cheer in the lead up or on the big day itself!
Carols Around The Tree
We’ll be welcoming Christmas into our hearts and minds properly with a magnificent ‘feel great’ singalong for a jolly old rendition of some of our favourites from the carol book around our magnificent Whirlow Hall Farm Fir Tree.
We're proud to welcome the Lydgate Junior School Choir into The Mowbray on the morning of our Market. They will be singing for us at 11.15 - and we're so looking forward to it!
