Parking
There is free street parking on Mowbray Street and Neepsend Lane, Burton Road - there’s also a number of car parks, along with direction on how to find us via the link just below.
We always encourage people to walk, ride bikes, hop on the tram when you come into the area - but wishing you safe travels however you arrive!

We’re open from 11am, we close at 18.00
Arrivals are at our front door on 118 Mowbray Street
If you have pre-booked tickets - When you arrive check your name on the door - all pre-booked tickets will receive a mini mince pie and a cup of boozy festive punch on arrival - (there will be a none-boozy option as well)

Come on in! You are very welcome!
Pre-booked tickets and food orders will be given priority access - if you haven’t pre-booked then you may need to wait to come in depending on guest numbers we already have in the building.
The Mowbray has a certain capacity - so we’d like to be able to keep things as comfortable and lovely as possible for our guests and super positive for our traders!
if you have pre-ordered Festive Food - you’ll be shown where to collect it from (just at the side of the bar) and given a little ticket to exchange for your butty or pasty!
*Please note - anyone who has pre-ordered food will be given priority access. Just make your way to the front door and let us know you’ve arrived

Time Slots and Pre-booked Places
The time slots of 11.00 -14.00 and 14.00 - 18.00 are ‘relaxed’ to give us an idea of how many people are coming at a certain time. You are welcome to call in anytime in your chosen time slot...eg - You don't need to arrive at 11am!

Our pre-order for Turkey Butties and Christmas Pasties closes Thursday at 17.00
Our pre-ordering for food has been popular - but there will be a limited number of Turkey Butties and Christmas Pasties to order on the day - but when they've gone they've gone!

Festive Food Pre Orders
If you have pre-ordered food - when you arrive - come straight to the entrance and check in - you'll be given a token and shown where to collect your order from!
The Bar & Drinks
The Christmas Bar will of course be open and we’re serving Christmas cocktails all day! We'll also have our full bar menu running as well!

A Christmas Dream
Join us for the most festive of days on Sunday 3rd of December for all the good things we love about Christmas - pressies, music, food and yuletide tipples! The Mowbray will be a cosy, twinkling candlelit hive of all things beautiful and delicious to ease you into the season most effortlessly!
Our Christmas Market is £5 per person to enter (which includes a glass of Christmas Market punch and a mini Mowbray mince pie on arrival)
Children are super welcome and there is no charge!

In the attempt to keep things boutique and comfortable - we’re asking everyone planning on joining us to pick from 2 times slots - late morning and afternoon. There’s also the option to pre-order Butties & Pasties to guarantee you can get your hands on them!

We’re delighted to be joined by Lesley, the wonderful founder and creative mind behind Essence and Alchemy. Lesley will be bringing a wonderful collection of stocking fillers and small gifts- from tin candles, tea-light sets, bath salts, incense and facial steams alongside a clutch of glass and porcelain candles.
Novel is a pop-up book shop in Sheffield, South Yorkshire ran by Kate + Joe.
They sell a curated selection of their favourite reads. They sift through contemporary releases to find the most inspiring, innovative, and thought-provoking books out there, and at the centre of the curation is a diverse list of authors, themes, and publishers.
"After over a decade of relentless discussions about opening a bookshop, we realised there was no time like the present to make the dream come true rather than keeping it as the ultimate retirement project. Joe & I add a curated selection of our favourite books each month to Novel’s range, that we have read and loved, and hope you will too. We'll have a range of gift ideas for the bookworms you're shopping for this festive season, from board books for little ones through to exciting contemporary releases for adults. We can't wait to see you there!"
Georgie is an illustrator & designer based in Sheffield and launched her business, Georgie Marnie, in April 2021. You’ll be able to buy her playful, colourful & relatable prints, cards, stickers, tote bags at the Market. Her work combines fun colour schemes and inspiration from day to day life and her positive & fun illustrated pieces spark joy - the perfect Christmas gifts!
CRAFT Sheffield will be bringing a selection of handmade giftable textiles, all created in her Sheffield studio. Using organic linens, cottons and velvets in a sumptuous winter colour palette. For your seasonal tablescape, Sarah has made table runners and napkins, to be paired with colourful candles from her curated collection of homeware. Hot water bottles, leather goods, and a selection of garments will all be on offer at the market.
Clare makes ceramics in her garden studio by Endcliffe Park in Sheffield. She also loves drying flowers and foraging stems when she's on walks so a lot of her pieces are about displaying flowers either dried or fresh. Clare will also be bringing plenty of gift items at a range of prices and also pieces for creating a magical Christmas table display with flowers and candles.
Luiza will be bringing original lino prints big and small and greeting cards for every occasion...Always a treat to chat to Luiza and find out more about her incredible work!
Kate Beaumont & Friends
Kate Beaumont designs and makes wedding gowns at her Sheffield studio. Utilising the silk off-cuts from her dresses, she's created a capsule collection of luxurious lingerie. Sustainability is at the very heart of these pieces, which feel incredible against the skin and make beautifully decadent gifts. Kate will also be bringing along other handmade gifts made from her silk leftovers - patchwork silk aromatherapy eye pillows and silk scrunchies and hair bows.
Alongside Kate's beautiful lingerie will be a curated selection of gold and silver jewellery from Kate's studio, featuring stunning pieces by Beth Pegler, Cathy Sutherland, Jennie Gill and Mikaela Lyons.
Sparse Vintage
Lucy has been seeking out vintage and pre-loved pieces especially with Christmas in mind...Expect party and festive wear with some seasonal winter woolies and beautiful silk and leather accessories...The perfect answer to the age old question - what to wear for the Christmas Party!
Betty's Flower Club
Selling the most gorgeously handcrafted Christmas wreaths for your doors and thresholds - you’ll also be able to have a chat to Cat to order a bespoke creation to pick up nearer to Christmas. You’ll also be able to get your hands on some beautiful festive centrepieces including some magical Christmas florals.

Our goal is a 'coffee first' cafe experience with a beautiful but pretense free coffee menu that features guest coffees and local house favourites...
Mow's will be hanging out Up On The Roof - in ‘Mow’s Christmas Coffee Cabin - to find Mow's - come through The Mowbray and up the stairs - Mow's will be treating you to boozy (and none-boozy) hot chocs and naughty coffees with a spike of festive liqueur if you fancy it - plus all of your favourites from the Sunday coffee menu - we'll also have some lovely gifts for the coffee lover in your life!

So looking forward to The Mowbray Christmas Butty - packed full of British Turkey and crammed with stuffing, cranberry and bread sauce - this is the ultimate taste of the season and are available as a pre-order as a Christmas special during the market. We’ll also have a delicious Christmas Pasty - a festive ode to Homity - with caramelised onions, potato & cheddar. Take a seat if you like - at one of our Feasting Tables and settle in…
There’ll be our famous Mowbray Mince Pies and other treats from The Mowbray Kitchen - perfect to pair with a Christmas tipple or a boozy (or none boozy) hot choccie!
Carols Around The Tree
We’ll be welcoming Christmas into our hearts and minds properly with a magnificent ‘feel great’ singalong for a jolly old rendition of some of our favourites from the carol book around our magnificent Whirlow Hall Farm Fir Tree.
We're proud to welcome The Voice Academy into The Mowbray on the morning of our Market. They will be singing for us at 11.00 - as we open the festivities - we're so looking forward to it - as they are amazing!
Barry Krisp & The Bangers
In the afternoon - we're going to be joined by Barry Krisp for an afternoon of Christmas bangers!
