Everyone who attends will be gifted our new ‘A Year at The Mowbray’ microzine which gives a glimpse of events - day into night, Summer through to Winter at The Mowbray.

Point of View

We also have some special guests joining us to inspire and give a different perspective from our Sheffield business community...

We have 3 speakers giving short POV pieces on 'Wellness in the Workplace'. Their aim is to inspire you with the knowledge, the personal belief and the commitment to make healthy changes that feed into and nourish a healthy work culture.

Dr Lindsey Thomas

Dr Lindsey Thomas (pictured first) is an experienced GP and a British Menopause Society specialist and trainer. She works in the NHS, as well as privately at Myla Health.

She is passionate about helping women to not just live but thrive in midlife. Which means taking a holistic, individualised view to care, as well as educating. The more women know and understand about their health, the better empowered they can be to take control of this stage of life and their longterm health.

Myla Health are a network of womens health specialists across the UK providing clinical care but also menopause support and guidance in the workplace.

Kendall Turner

Kendall Turner (pictured second) is from Bloom, Sheffield - Bloom is a community flower garden for women in Heeley. They promote positive mental health through therapeutic horticulture. Started in 2019 with a very overgrown allotment and some big ideas. They now welcome women each week into their gardens to make friends, learn new skills and enjoy nature together as a community.

Rebecca Lee Close

Rebecca Lee Close Yoga (pictured third) will be giving us a bitesize movement workshop is designed to easily translate to your day to day life and includes some great tips for you to report back to your place of work!

Rebecca specialises in pain care, sports, yin, functional and sustainable yoga - and works with corporate clients at their workplace or in a studio setting.
