Our 2019 House Events are shaping up to be pretty spectacular!
The Sunday stars have aligned and we’re thrilled to announce we’re teaming up with the exceptional guys from CAST! A truly sublime Sunday afternoon of bespoke jewellery making followed by a decadent Yorkshire roast and hearty pud - straight from The Mowbray Kitchen, It’s going to be MAGNIFICENT!
CAST are an expert team of jewellery designers and makers. They are wholeheartedly passionate about what they do, the products they create and the people they work with.
As fellow Neepsenders, we’re incredibly proud of our rich Industrial heritage. The Mowbray, was originally a steel and iron merchants - built in 1889 by Robert Huntley. Everything in The Mowbray and the building itself has been designed in the 93ft studio above The Mowbray and made within a mile radius of the building in our workshops on Kelham Island. We honor a legacy of authenticity, creativity and provenance.
Together with CAST, we share a culture of excellence with and a reverence for luxury, both experts in delivering incredible experiences for YOU! We’ve put our creative minds together and come up with the ultimate Christmas gift.
PART I - UP TOOLS
The guys from CAST will be setting up The Mowbray Studio for one magical day. Natural light and perhaps a peep of winter sunshine will fill the room, RADIO MOWBRAY will the perfect soundtrack to the day and we’ll keep you suitably creatively with a winter warmer from The Mowbray Bar.
You’ll have the option of creating a totally unique necklace, ring or pair of earrings with your very own tools & equipment. All set to design and create a totally bespoke masterpiece.
It’s going to be magical!
PART II - DOWN TOOLS
A Yorkshire Roast of magnificent proportions awaits! Head over to our candle lit feasting tables where The Mowbray Kitchen will serve up some seriously great slow cooked Sunday greatness! With the most wonderfully decadent pud to finish. We know how to do Sunday’s!
Safely parcelled away, your creations will carefully labelled, ready to be transformed into slips of silver to arrive in a fortnight. HOW VERY EXCITING!
