Join us for ‘‘Curry Bowls and Cocktails’ - a specially fun weekend dedicated to gathering together for curry, catch ups and some delicious 2-4-1 cocktails!
We’re running this little slice of escapism over two nights - Friday 20th and Saturday 21st of January!
The Curry Bowls
Fragrant, colourful, comforting and ultimately delicious - choose one bowl per person - The Mowbray Chicken Chaap Bowl or The Mowbray Veggie/Vegan Bowl - and we’ll be serving both with plenty of chargrilled coriander & garlic flatbreads for dipping, mopping and scooping!
Each bowl is served per person.
The Mowbray Chicken Chaap Bowl
British chicken cooked to tender and flavoursome perfection with yoghurt, caramelised onions, fragrant garam masala & almonds (contains nuts)
Plenty of baked pilau rice (v, ve)
Crispy chilli paneer with roasted tomato bharta (v)
Black daal with lime pickled onions (v)
Beetroot raita with fresh mint & coriander (v)
Served with Chargrilled Coriander & Garlic Flatbreads (v, ve, g)
The Mowbray Veggie/Vegan Curry Bowl
Pepper fry aubergine; spiced aubergine cooked in a smoky tomato & chilli sauce (v, ve)
Plenty of baked pilau rice (v, ve)
Crispy chilli paneer/tofu with roasted tomato bharta (v, ve)
Black daal with lime pickled onions (v, ve)
Beetroot raita with fresh mint & coriander (v, ve)
Served with Chargrilled Coriander & Garlic Flatbreads (v, ve, g)
TO FINISH
Boozy Granita - Lime Granita topped with coconut rum and brown sugar syrup (v, ve)

The Cocktails
As ever - The Mowbray Bar will have curated a clutch of specialist boozy and non-boozy cocktails - which we’ll be running 2 for 1 at 18.30-19.30 and again at 21.30-22.30.
We’re channelling those holiday favs that just take you back to sundowners on the beach…
Each £10
Mango Lassi
Cachaca, triple sec, mango puree, mango juice
A simple spin on a Caipirinha, a wonderfully sweet sipper to accompany a curry bowl.
Cardamon Colada
Cardamom rum, coconut milk, pineapple, citrus, simple syrup
We love getting creative and creating our own special in house infusions! For this we’ve infused white rum with some cardamon to give this colada some floral flurry.
Verbena Crush
Lemon verbena vodka, fresh mint, fresh lime, simple syrup topped with soda
Our Mowbray infused lemon verbena vodka brings a real smoothness to this sharp mojito style cocktail…a great pallet cleanser.
Turkish Delight Margarita
Tequila Blanco, Bandara rose vermouth, rose water syrup, citrus
Delicate, Light and perfectly balanced.
We’ll also have our full bar menu available as well.
How To Book
Arrivals are from 18.30 if you’d like to start early at the bar!
We’ll be inviting you to take your seats at 19.30 and we’ll be serving the Curry Bowls at 19.45.
Just let us know if you’ll be joining us early - otherwise we’ll see you from 19.00.
