The Perfect Afternoon 

Join us ‘Up On The Roof’ on the afternoon of Friday 3rd of June on our private rooftop terrace for a blissful afternoon of celebration cocktails and delicious garden party snacks for the ultimate afternoon in the sunshine. 

Arrivals are at 12.30 and you’ll have your table until 16.30 for an afternoon well spent! We’ll get things off to a most civilised start with a glass of Punch from our Garden Party Punch Bowl collection to get you settled in. 

Each seat is £20 and includes a Garden Party Picnic Plate per person and a glass of Punch from the Bar on arrival.

Let us look after you! Garden Party is all about table service - allowing you to sit back and relax with a Summertime playlist and (hopefully) catch some sunny rays on our perfectly private rooftop!

To Nibble

Garden Party is all about lounging and luxuriating on this special Bank Holiday afternoon with a snack plate to nibble on and plenty of cocktails! 

Here’s our Garden picnic  plate - a little bit of savoury, a little bit of sweet - the perfect balance to make a perfect English garden snack! It goes without saying that everything is made fresh on the day from The Mowbray Kitchen!

A true taste of Summer - a perfect piece of garden vegetable quiche (v, g)

Light as a feather and luxuriously decadent a generous slice of Victoria sponge cake (v, g)

A deeply indulgent Mowbray-made eccles cake - light and flaky on the outside, dark and delicious on the inside!  (v, g)

To Drink

The ‘Up On The Roof Bar’ will be dressed with beautiful British Garden florals and a special cocktail menu dedicated to this monumental moment in history - so expect some Garden Party twists on some legends and some custom cocktails from The Mowbray Bar. 

We'll be running our Mowbray Summer drinks menu as well... but here's some beautifully created specials that we can't wait to serve!

Summer Cup No.1 £8.5

Pimm's Cup No.1, Mowbray made summer cup syrup (cucumber, wildflower and strawberry) topped with fentimans rose lemonade.

 We simply can’t fathom a Jubilee celebration without something Pimm’s. We’ve put our own little stamp on this summer garden favourite. 

Jubilee Berry £9

London dry gin, Citrus, Simple syrup topped with a blackberry, raspberry and blueberry puree.

A simple yet beautiful gin sour, finished with a delicious fresh made mixed berry puree.. Think Bramble cocktail meets an Eton mess pud. 

English Garden Mojito £9

Lavender and Mint washed White rum, Demerara sugar topped with soda.

Bringing a splash of elegance to a classic mojito with a wash of lavender as well as that gorgeous mint flavour. 

Punch & Judy £8.5 

Peach and orange blossom vodka, English breakfast tea syrup, Lemon & soda.

Garden tones and fragrances - this punch encapsulates all the fresh, fruity flavours that remind you of a British summer.

Judy without the punch £8.5

Bax Botanics Verbena, English breakfast tea syrup, Lemon & Soda.

A delicious booze free punch with our favourite Bax Botanics special ingredient.

This is an exclusive event for a small number of guests - we’re aiming to be Up On The Roof as long as the sun is shining - and we’d like everyone to be ultra comfortable - so we’ve limited numbers. 

We of course have a rainy day contingency - as we’ll move into The Mowbray if we need to!
