Nourishment and Peace
Good intentions and a chance to reset - the perfect combination. We’re delighted to welcome a special guest - London based Yoga Teacher and Holistic Nutritionist Libby Limon (of The Chimney House Urban Retreat fame) back to The Mowbray for her second Winter Retreat.
Our first retreat earlier this year - 'Reset with Libby' sold out almost immediately - so we've decided to keep to smaller numbers and run two beautiful retreats - one for day and one for night. You can use them together for a splendid start to the weekend or simply pick one to enjoy super special times to enjoy with a gentle group of like minds.
One or both of these two resets are just the ticket to tap into great vibes and give your body and soul a mindful start to 2020.
Friday 10th of January :: Candlelight
Hosted on Friday 10th of January - Libby will guide you through a deeply relaxing Friday night in the warm and ambient glow of The Mowbray.
6pm - Arrivals &The Yoga
We'll welcome you with a warm brew of goodness to help you settle in and relax on your mat. Libby will then guide you through a breath-centred slow Hatha flow to stretch out even the sleepiest of limbs to give nourishment and peace to your body. We will finish with a restorative yoga ‘nidra’. This ancient practice takes you to a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the 'going-to-sleep' stage.
It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, where you'll become systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. It is an immensely powerful meditation technique, but easy and accessible to all with no yoga experience required.
8pm - Supper
We'll then gather around the feasting tables to dine by candlelight for a deliciously warming plant-based nourishing supper. Our Supper menu is a collaboration between our Mowbray chefs and using Libby’s expert knowledge in the field of nutrition to provide you with tasty delicious dishes which have their roots in the healing power of food.
The Need to Knows
Suitable for all those who love yoga whatever your level. This is a blissful 3 hour evening retreat - perfect for anyone looking for a joyful New Year boost alongside like minded folk.
Libby’s approach to health and wellbeing is one of balance and suitable for everyone, she focuses on what you can do eat and do, rather faddy restrictive diets. Her yoga style is rhythmic and breath focused, flowing continuously between asanas, paying attention to alignment.
The Ticket Price Includes
Yoga, supper, hot drinks and a Reset Happiness Kit.
Be sure to bring your own Yoga Mat and any Yoga props you might need for your practice.
Places are limited and in demand! £35 each available through Eventbrite (with a small booking fee) or book direct with us by filling the form out below. Please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
