Weddings at The Mowbray & The Chimney House
Chat with our expert events team about all things weddings and events and to enjoy a relaxed viewing of either The Mowbray and The Chimney House or both!
Both The Mowbray and The Chimney House will beautifully styled with our trademark candles, soft floral touches and antique curiosities, along with tables laid for a feast with our bespoke Sheffield Steel and gleaming glassware, to give you a magical glimpse into how we would take care of your day with us!
Our team will talk you through beautiful ceremonies at The Chimney House, parties at The Mowbray, our glorious wedding feasts and seasonal menus from The Mowbray Kitchen down to the smallest most beautiful details.
The Sunday Cocktail Bar
The Sunday Cocktail Bar will be open from 11am. We’ll have the most delicious infusions and homebrews - and we’ll be shaking up some magic little tipples and Sunday morning faves for you to enjoy around our Feasting Tables - or of course - if the sun shines we'll have the roof top bar open 'Up On The Roof' for a sublime little afternoon in the sun!
The Cocktails will be a special 'try me' price of two for £12... Or £8 each
Lemon Balm Margarita £8
The Mowbray's own lemon balm infused tequila blanco, orange liqueur, citrus & simple syrup - Garnished with a verbena salt rim
Our own special infusion from our roof terrace pots - add a little extra herbaceous lemony flavour to this already fantastic tipple.
Raspberry Rose Porto £8
White port, rosewater and raspberry syrup topped with a light Indian tonic water.
Fruity and light with a touch of floral rose and some sparkle for Summer
Mow Tai £8
White and golden rum, orange liqueur, orgeat almond syrup, citrus & pineapple juice
This ones a little on the stronger side but with no sacrifice to gorgeous summer flavours - What sings summer on a sunny roof terrace more than a Mai Tai - but we made it a little more Mowbray

Kate Beaumont designs and makes understatedly beautiful wedding dresses from her working studio here in Sheffield. Working with luxurious silks and laces, Kate's dresses are a dream to wear. Kate will be bringing along a selection of her sumptuous gowns to The Mowbray, along with samples of newly created lingerie that she's created from repurposed leftover silks - pure luxury!
Debbie Carlisle Bridal Hair Accessories
Debbie Carlisle designs and makes small-batch artisan-crafted bridal hair accessories for free-spirited modern brides and boutiques all over the world from her Sheffield studio.
From star-encrusted crystal crowns to fabulous floral hair vines, combs and pins, Debbie is inspired by the natural world to create thoughtfully designed handcrafted wedding headpieces with a wild, ethereal, bohemian feel.
Debbie takes a considered approach to every piece she makes, using only the best materials to carefully create delicate, comfortable bridal hair accessories that are a joy to wear on your wedding day and are designed to be worn and treasured long afterwards.
Debbie will be bringing a selection of her designs to The Mowbray - including crowns and headbands from her brand new 2023 collection, Goddess.
Alex lives on the outskirts of Sheffield, on the border between Yorkshire & Derbyshire.
She's a full-time photographer, animal lover, musical theatre enthusiast, amateur baker, literature admirer, music worshipper, countryside fan and Outlander (the T.V show) obsessed.
Drawn to photography at a young age, she has been photographing people professionally for over a decade.
Alex says - "Wedding photography and portrait photography mean so much to me. It’s a beautiful art form that is so unique to each photographer. For me it’s all about capturing connections in an unobtrusive way, giving my clients the freedom to be themselves and letting them enjoy their whole experience."
Georgie is a bespoke stationery Designer and Illustrator based in Sheffield. She specialises in designing luxury, handcrafted stationery for special weddings and events.
Georgie collaborates with people to create beautiful, one of a kind stationery that is full of style and personality that suits them. She sources gorgeous materials to make her stationery stand out and add a magic touch to your special day!
Cathy creates bespoke wedding and engagement rings and organic styled jewellery from her workshop in Sheffield. She will work with you to design the perfect wedding rings and jewellery for your day. Each piece is handmade from recycled silver and gold, using ethically sourced gemstones.
You can also recycle your old sentimental or heirloom jewellery pieces and have them re-worked into your new wedding jewellery.
With their classic 50s / 60s Volkswagen beetles and campervans, Vintage VolksWeddings have been delivering brides and grooms to the doors of The Mowbray (and The Chimney House) for a few years now. The vehicles look right at home parked outside these beautiful buildings, and whilst they’re parked there, you’ll be able to chat about all things transport related. Play your cards right, and you might even get to ride in one between The Mowbray and The Chimney house!
Charlotte's style is mostly minimal and clean, which is why she loves doing bridal nails. She focuses on the health of the hands and nails first and foremost.
Using premium gel products that are tailored to your nail type and condition, she is constantly mixing up her skincare products for a touch of luxury after your manicure.
On the 11th of June - Charlotte will treating you to mini manicures! She will be chatting through natural nail care and her manicure treats and options.
You'll also be able to have a look at Charlotte's online portfolio and will be able to book you in if you do fancy a full manicure in the future.
