A Feel Good Summer Saturday Feast!

Join us 'Up On The Roof' for a gorgeous Saturday night hosted on our private first floor roof terrace!

We’re plunging deep into the pastoral English landscapes, fields, gardens, streams, hedgerows and allotments to inspire a super special Supper Club hosted on Saturday 6th of July.

The English Garden is an ode to the produce that our beautiful lands give us that drives our menus and inspires our Kitchens - and we're also proud to raise awareness, support - and funds - for Grow - an important nature-based youth development charity here in Sheffield.

The Feast

What we choose to go on our menu will be the week or days leading up to the Feast - with so many factors at play - especially at this time of year - the weather being one of them… We’re looking forward to presenting you with inspired plates of English goodness…

The ingredients will be prepared and served as a rolling feast…

The Menu

We are delighted to present our menu for the 6th July - our first rooftop event of the year! We have placed our order with Organic North and will eagerly await the delivery of organic produce used on the menu. Organic North is a member-run cooperative who source fantastic organic produce from all over the UK which is truly seasonal, and there is virtually no waste in the supply chain.

We also buy cheeses made in the British Isles from Neal’s Yard Dairy - we are using Riseley on this menu - which is fairly new to us and could be one of our favourite cheeses ever! It’s creamy, a little sticky & gloriously savoury in flavour - it will be wonderful with the broad beans from Strawberry Fields Farm in Lincolnshire.

To Start

Buttermilk brown bread with house-made butter & potted crab (g)

Our soda bread is made using the buttermilk from our homemade butter & organic flour from Whissendine Windmill, Oakham.

Lincolnshire broad bean tart with a melting slice of Riseley cheese (a washed sheep’s milk cheese) (g)

Tempura Bedlam Farm broccoli with house-made mayonnaise (v, g)

Milk-braised wild rabbit with house-made cavatelli pasta, lemon & grilled gem lettuce (g)

Or for our vegetarian guests: Gloucester aubergine with house-made cavatelli pasta (v, g)

Isle of Wight tomatoes with tarragon vinaigrette & crispy capers (v)

Crispy potato terrine with Yorkshire kohlrabi, frisee & chervil (v)

To Finish

Panna cotta with Makin’s strawberries, English gooseberries & house-made elderflower syrup

Or lemon posset with strawberries for our vegetarian guests (our panna cotta is set with gelatine)

(v) = vegetarian    (g) = contains gluten
