A Feel Good Summer Saturday Feast!

We are completely and passionately led by the seasons - and even though each season brings its own joy and beauty - there is always something magical about the treasures from Summer.

We’re plunging deep into the pastoral English landscapes, fields, gardens, streams, hedgerows and allotments to inspire a super special Supper Club hosted on Saturday 6th of July.

We are hosting The English Garden for two reasons - an ode to the produce that our beautiful lands give us that drives our menus and inspires our Kitchens - but to also raise awareness, support - and funds - for Grow - an important nature-based youth development charity here in Sheffield.

About Grow

Grow works with marginalised and vulnerable young people aged 16-24 across the city's deprived communities. Many of the young people they work with face barriers to accessing support and employment, including mental ill-health, social isolation and lack of employment prospects.

Grow’s innovative approach combines coaching with nature-based projects and activities such as gardening and nature walks. Through their therapeutic work, they aim to break the cycle of mental ill-health and social isolation and equip young people with the confidence and tools needed to get into work or training and thrive in life.

The Feast

The menu will be dictated by the seasonal availability of ‘what’s good to eat right now’ but here is a snippet of what we’re thinking about…

What we choose to go on our menu will be the week or days leading up to the Feast - with so many factors at play - especially at this time of year - the weather being one of them… We’re looking forward to presenting you with inspired plates of English goodness…

The ingredients will be prepared and served as a rolling feast…

On The Menu So Far…

This will be confirmed nearer the time - but to give you an idea...
