Weddings at The Mowbray & The Chimney House
Chat with our expert events team about all things weddings and events and to enjoy a relaxed viewing of either The Mowbray and The Chimney House or both!
Both The Mowbray and The Chimney House will beautifully styled with our trademark candles, soft floral touches and antique curiosities, along with tables laid for a feast with our bespoke Sheffield Steel and gleaming glassware, to give you a magical glimpse into how we would take care of your day with us!
Our team will talk you through beautiful ceremonies at The Chimney House, parties at The Mowbray, our glorious wedding feasts and seasonal menus from The Mowbray Kitchen down to the smallest most beautiful details.
The Mowbray Summer Snack Plates
The Mowbray Kitchen will be serving THE most delicious Summer Snack Plate between 11.30-2pm - a really lovely chance to try our food and enjoy a super tasty plate - hopefully it will be beautifully sunny day - so you can enjoy ‘Up On The Roof’!
Our Summer Snack Plate will be all vegetarian and available as a pre-order only - £15 each.
We recommend ordering one plate for a light snack between two or one each if you’d like a lovely lunch. Pre-order below!

The Sunday Coffee & Cocktail Bar
The Sunday Cocktail Bar will be open from 11am. We’ll have the most delicious infusions and homebrews - and we’ll be shaking up some magic little tipples and Sunday morning faves for you to enjoy around our Feasting Tables - or of course - if the sun shines we'll have the roof top bar open 'Up On The Roof' for a sublime little afternoon in the sun!
We'll also have a lovely Sunday coffee menu to enjoy too!

Plus - Lucy is an amazing stylist - giving gentle advice and enthusiasm - perfect to help you style and create a dreamy look. For weddings think hen-do, rehearsal dinner outfits, big day styling or accessorising, evening outfit and of course that all important honeymoon wardrobe…
Sparse is always a favourite at our Christmas Market - (a sell out - with queues!) Lucy has been championing second hand shopping since 2015 and always brings a beautifully curated edit of vintage and pre-loved clothing and accessories. We adore Lucy’s exacting eye for incredible quality and style. You’re in for a treat!
The fact that Ellie is at The Mowbray and The Chimney House all year round - photographing and capturing the most amazing weddings and events is testament to how good she is! Her way with light, tone, colour and portraiture is mesmerising - working in harmony with the buildings to make sure your time with us is exquisitely documented. Always there when you need her - for those special moments - and working subtly and thoughtfully behind the scenes to make sure you'll see tiny details and unseen magic when you receive your gallery...
Kate Beaumont designs and makes understatedly beautiful wedding dresses from her working studio here in Sheffield. Working with luxurious silks and laces, Kate's dresses are a dream to wear. Kate will be bringing along a selection of her sumptuous gowns to The Mowbray, along with samples of newly created lingerie that she's created from repurposed leftover silks - pure luxury!
Debbie Carlisle Bridal Hair Accessories
Debbie Carlisle designs and makes small-batch artisan-crafted bridal hair accessories for free-spirited modern brides and boutiques all over the world from her Sheffield studio.
From star-encrusted crystal crowns to fabulous floral hair vines, combs and pins, Debbie is inspired by the natural world to create thoughtfully designed handcrafted wedding headpieces with a wild, ethereal, bohemian feel.
Debbie takes a considered approach to every piece she makes, using only the best materials to carefully create delicate, comfortable bridal hair accessories that are a joy to wear on your wedding day and are designed to be worn and treasured long afterwards.

Georgie is a bespoke stationery Designer and Illustrator based in Sheffield. She specialises in designing luxury, handcrafted stationery for special weddings and events.
Georgie collaborates with people to create beautiful, one of a kind stationery that is full of style and personality that suits them. She sources gorgeous materials to make her stationery stand out and add a magic touch to your special day!
Cathy creates bespoke wedding and engagement rings and organic styled jewellery from her workshop in Sheffield. She will work with you to design the perfect wedding rings and jewellery for your day. Each piece is handmade from recycled silver and gold, using ethically sourced gemstones.
You can also recycle your old sentimental or heirloom jewellery pieces and have them re-worked into your new wedding jewellery.
The White Yard, located in historic Ironworks, provides unique bridal gowns for deluxe city vibes or relaxed boho dreams. Gowns are always unique, they never settle for cookie cutter style. Vintage VolksWeddings
Sustainability Star!
With their classic 50s / 60s Volkswagen beetles and campervans, Vintage VolksWeddings have been delivering brides and grooms to the doors of The Mowbray (and The Chimney House) for a few years now. The vehicles look right at home parked outside these beautiful buildings, and whilst they’re parked there, you’ll be able to chat about all things transport related. Play your cards right, and you might even get to ride in one between The Mowbray and The Chimney House!
A wedding day is the most special time in a bride’s life, Laura’s approach helps to ensure a relaxed experience from the initial booking to the big day.
She is passionate about her natural, minimal style, accentuating the bride’s favourite features whilst making sure they still look and feel like themselves.
Laura will be available across the weekend to have a little chat and answer any questions you may have!
