Good intentions and a chance to reset - the perfect combination. We’re over the moon delighted to welcome London based Yoga Teacher and Holistic Nutritionist Libby Limon (of The Chimney House Urban Retreat fame) back to Sheffield, this time to The Mowbray for her ‘Detox and Restore’ Yoga Lunch
Come and join us on your mat in the delectably warm and cosy interior of The Mowbray. You’ll be welcomed with a special brew into the soothing surrounds of our Winter retreat. Libby will guide you through a 90mins detox vinyasa flow, stimulating your body’s own detoxifications systems.
After we ‘twist and sweat it out’, the yoga practice will finish with a restorative yoga ‘nidra’. This ancient practice takes you to a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the going-to-sleep stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed meaning you’ll become systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. It is an immensely powerful meditation technique, but easy and accessible to all with no yoga experience required.
Post yoga we’ll gather around a candlelit feasting table for delicious drinks and an expert chat on nutrition by Libby - who will also answer your questions on the best way to start your 2019. Our lunch is a divine collaboration between The Mowbray Kitchen and Libby’s expert knowledge in the field of nutrition to provide you with tasty delicious dishes which have their roots in the healing power of food. One thing is for sure - you’re in for a treat!

Libby’s approach to health and wellbeing is one of balance and suitable for everyone, she focuses on what you can do eat and do, rather faddy restrictive diets. Her yoga style is rhythmic and breath focused, flowing continuously between asanas, paying attention to alignment.

Libby Limon is a degree qualified, London based Nutritional Therapist (mBANT) as well as fully qualified and experienced yoga teacher. As an independent Nutritional Therapist, Nutrition Consultant and Yoga Teacher, she has a busy private clinic and teaches yoga classes at Soho House Gym.
On the corporate side, she has worked on various projects, including workshops, recipe development/collections, wellbeing seminars, supplement formulation and development with a number of brands and corporations, and even help create and develop a ‘nutrition consultation app’ using AI technology.
