About Our New Spaces
We have recently developed the Roof Terrace at The Mowbray - into two great new spaces. Up On The Roof & The Cabin are both available for private hire.
Up On The Roof - New Space
‘Up On The Roof’ was developed to successfully transition The Mowbray from lockdown to alfresco restaurant before we could open fully as an indoor events venue.
Perfect for away days and training sessions with your team with lunch and drinks from our roof bar or through the evenings. It’s the perfect rooftop retreat in our great Sheffield outdoors!
We can seat up to 50 guests comfortably - the perfect private space for alfresco meetings. Ideal for workshops and a brilliant training space - use alongside The Meeting Room and/or The Cabin for an unusual professional meeting space.
It's BBQ Time
Stay a while longer and treat your team to a BBQ for lunch or after your event in the evening...We cook with charcoal and wood and with fire and flames Up On The Roof. Fresh BBQ beachy vibes and all the flavour from low and slow.
Roof Top Bar
We have a fully functioning Roof Bar as well - beautifully designed to sit against our sandy stone wall - our roof bar is fully equipped to keep the garden cocktails flowing! Set within picking distance of fresh herbs and edible flowers the bar is influenced by The Mowbray Kitchen so you’ll always find treats like wildflower syrup and roast strawberry and pink peppercorn gin starring on our drinks list..
You'll also be able to dip into our Summer Punch Bowls - served up in our antique cut glass bowls - alongside of our Summer cocktail menu...
The Cabin - New Space
The Cabin is an all new environment for The Mowbray - this is a 10 seater ‘breakout’ space.
Crafted from feel-good reclaim and reused timbers - The Cabin follows in the footsteps of The Mowbray's responsible design ethos. You'll spot antique light fittings - and a gorgeous 'toffee apple' finish on a beautiful reclaimed floor. The real talking point are the rescued crittall windows and door that gives The Cabin a fresh and wonderful light filled vibe.
Complete with a pair of vintage Monitor Audio speakers from the ‘70’s and a state of the art Logitech 55 inch screen with meeting room cameras for up to the minute video conferencing.
It's a perfect getaway to use in tandem with the main Meeting Room space downstairs or separately.
