We were delighted to welcome a special guest - London based Yoga Teacher and Holistic Nutritionist Libby Limon back to The Chimney House and The Mowbray for her second Winter Retreat with us.
This time of year was the perfect chance to gather a whole room of like minded friends together - this time over both of our locations over Friday evening and Saturday morning.
We'd like to extend special thanks to Libby for two excellent classes, Link Nutrition for our Relax Supplement gifts on Friday evening and much needed Vitamin D boosts for Saturday morning. Guests also loved their gift of ever delicious OM Bars to!

Friday's Yoga & Supper
On Friday we hosted CANDLELIGHT at The Chimney House - an evening of nourishment and peace, good intentions and a chance to reset - the perfect recipe...
The Chimney House was stacked out with antique candlesticks amongst the leafy green plants of The Meeting Room and The Living Room and soft and fragrant cut stems in curious pots and bottles filled the spaces... The underfloor heated timber floor was both soothing and cosy that gave a new dimension to the practice.
Slow Hatha Flow
Libby guided our guests through a breath-centred slow Hatha flow that stretched out even the sleepiest of limbs to give nourishment and peace to the body.
We finished with a restorative yoga ‘nidra’ - an ancient practice that takes you to a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the 'going-to-sleep' stage.
Supper
Served in the candlelight - our yogis feasted on a hearty plant based stew and a sublime sweet treat!

Saturday's Yoga & Brunch
Saturday was one of those grey snoozy mornings - so perfect for some get up and go vibes! The Mowbray was heated to a blissful temperature to aid Libby's 90 minute detox vinyasa flow, designed to stimulate the body’s own detoxifications systems.
The Brunch
After our Yogis twisted and sweated it out we served up a delicious brunch around The Mowbray's feasting tables.
Mowbray Made - Baked Sweet Potato & Onion Rosti with Wilted Spinach & Chard, Roasted Portabella Mushroom & Poached Organic Eggs.
Followed by
Turmeric Latte & Banana, Almond & Maca Muffins
