As The Mowbray & The Chimney House enter their 12th and 2nd year respectively - our vision and plans are expanding - which means we have some excellent roles across the company to get involved with in 2020 and beyond.
From the chance to work alongside our Head of House and our Events Delivery Team to roles in the kitchen and on the bar - there are excellent opportunities to work in the fast paced world of events.
We're proud to be independent, family owned and operated and owners of two iconic buildings in Sheffield - which we have restored from derelict and transformed into leading events spaces on Kelham Island and Neepsend in Sheffield.

Events Team - Shifts
Working as part of The Mowbray and The Chimney House Events Team is social, busy, bustling and exciting. We're looking for amazing team members to work on a shift by shift basis to help us with The Chimney House and The Mowbray's busy event schedules.
You must be available in the evenings and at the weekends for lunch or evening service for Private Dining, Events and Weddings.
Experience working behind a bar, in a restaurant or events spaces is preferable - but we're also looking for great personalities, a passion for events and a desire to be part of something great with a friendly, innovative and creative team! Full training will be given.
We pay excellent rates of pay and we're also looking to bring the right person through from Events Team to Team Leader - with higher rates of pay.
Team Leader - Shifts
This is a flexible, fun and rewarding role - perfect for someone who wants to get involved in the world of events at both The Mowbray and The Chimney House. You will need to have experience in hospitality to a supervisory/management level.
The Mowbray Kitchen
Casual Chef - Shifts
Our chefs are very passionate about getting the most out of great ingredients, with high attention to detail. You can expect to work with some great ingredients and perhaps learn some new skills.
Pot Wash - Shifts
You must be a methodical and efficient worker, preferably experienced and who takes pride in their work and who wants to be part of a great team!
