Eve Gnoyke

Eve is a potter based in Sheffield’s Persistence Works studios. She seeks to make pots for the home that have a generous and friendly presence, and feel good to hold, eat from, and bring joy with use. It’s important that domestic context and everyday rituals bring purpose to her pots and give them a sense of completion. She enjoys soft, full forms that centre a feeling of comfort, and strives for a quiet simplicity so that her pots bring out the beauty in the food they serve. Eve’s practice focusses on raw-glazed slipware, a technique with deep-rooted heritage in English culture. The use of one or two slips and two simple glazes provide a framework to really bring form into focus. Despite its seeming simplicity, it’s a process that requires nuance, experience and persistence to harness well, and it’s these qualities that energise Eve to continue exploring.

Bullion Craft Chocolate

We are bringing along our bean-to-bar craft chocolate bars, retail pouches of hot chocolates, chocolate scented candle and gift sets. Bean-to-Bar Craft Chocolate is a relatively new concept to most. It’s the process of actually importing cocoa beans and making chocolate from scratch. Here at Bullion, we are one of only a handful of UK companies to craft chocolate this way.

Taking a hands-on approach, we set out to discover and unlock the ‘hidden gold’ in cacao: the distinct flavour nuances – terroir - that beans from carefully selected farms can produce. As a result, the single origin batches that we craft are strictly limited in number and represent a never-to-be-repeated opportunity to sample the unique notes and aromas produced by cacao from a particular time and place.

Imagician

Photographic products with a social purpose

Wild Roots

Buy sustainably crafted charcuterie and chopping boards made from recycled, salvaged Javanese wood - with part of the proceeds helping to uplift communities in Indonesia...

100% made in Sheffield, Imagician is delighted to launch at The Festive Festival. A brand new Sheffield enterprise bringing festive joy in the shape of a local, artisanal calendar to brighten up any kitchen or office. Feeling that some of the local calendars on offer are generic and produced by massive publishing houses not based anywhere near Sheffield, we decided to have a go ourselves. The result (we hope you agree) is a high quality, well crafted local calendar with images that are more localised, quirky and have more personality than the norm.

We can’t wait to see you!
