Nadia & Ben say...
"The Mowbray and Chimney House were the first (and only) venues we looked at when planning our wedding back in 2023. We knew as soon as we walked in and met the team, saw the beautiful buildings and gorgeous decor, that they would make the perfect setting for our wedding. We knew we wanted a cool, relaxed vibe to the day, with great food and laid-back energy being our priorities, and this is exactly what we got.
The team knew exactly what they were doing, and this made the planning for the rest of the wedding almost completely stress-free - the food, decor and timings of the day were all in hand, so all we had to do was fine-tune the rest of it. The team were so helpful when it came to choosing our menus, went above and beyond to make sure that we had the evening food we wanted, and were so accommodating when it came to the dietary requirements of our guests.
On the day itself, things couldn't have gone smoother. From little details like making sure we had a moment to ourselves after the ceremony, to bigger things like getting everyone off the terrace to watch the first dance, and even to all the staff taking a moment to make sure we were having fun throughout the day, the Mowbray team were so dedicated to making everything perfect. We will also probably be thinking about the food for the rest of our lives, and we feel extremely smug about how many people said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The feast style meant that the dinner was sociable and casual, and the atmosphere was fantastic all day.
We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding."
