"A ceremony at The Chimney House & reception at the Mowbray had always been our ‘if we get married one day, that would be the dream’ plan - and years later it turned out to be just as incredible as we thought it would be!
With pretty much everything being taken care of within the hire including beautiful venue styling, we had a really relaxed and enjoyable experience planning the wedding knowing we just had the fun little extra bits to do like confetti and favours. Lucy and the team helped us to make the day really personalised crafting us a fully vegetarian feasting menu, creating homemade limoncello shots for toasting and ordering in a crate of our favourite beer cans from a local brewery.
On the day, we were looked after amazingly, from the super attentive and calming team at the Chimney House to all the bar and waiting staff at the Mowbray - Bo, our coordinator on the day was especially great, making sure we were just focused on having a great time. So many guests commented on how amazing the food was, how beautiful the venues were and how ‘us’ the whole day felt. It was everything we wanted the day to be and more."
