Love at First Sight

Chelsea and Jonny were one of the very first couples to book at The Mowbray! 

93ft - the creative design studio - 93ft upstairs to The Mowbray were working with Jonny while we were still doing our restorations on the building - so he had been able to see a work-in-progress ahead of us launching The Mowbray. We think it was love at first sight! 

Chelsea and Jonny were blessed with probably one of the sunniest days of the year which set the scene for the entire day…Gloriously spectacular filled full of gleeful surprises, huge laughter, a specially rehearsed epic first dance and a day and night brimful of absolute beauty (just look how amazing Chelsea looks) and of course lots of time on the roof terrace basking in the Sheffield sun.

As many of our couples do - Chelsea and Jonny also came to one of our Supper Clubs - The Italian Canteen and got so inspired they asked us to create a custom wedding feast to mirror the canteen...

Thoughts From The Day

"The team at The Mowbray were absolutely fantastic, and turned everything we'd hoped for, into a reality. 

Throughout the lead up to the wedding, the team were so helpful and thoughtful. Whatever we needed, was never too much and they were always willing to go the extra mile to make things work for us. 

On the day, everything was better than we could have expected. 

The venue was spectacular, the staff were attentive and the food was out of this world. 

I've lost count of the number of people that said to me, and continue to say to me, how good the food was. 

The venue was picture perfect on a beautiful September day, and the roof terrace gave us some outdoor space that is often lacking in city centre venues. 

Finally, the recommendation to use the Monday Night Re-Runs for our evening entertainment was inspired, The band were incredible, and pulled off a great set that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. 

The day will live long in our memory as being as perfect as we could have ever hoped for, and most of that we can put down to the Mowbray and its wonderful team." Chelsea & Jonny
