A Grand Celebration
Felicity and Pete welcomed of 120 of their friends and family for their luxurious spring wedding at The Mowbray. Flowing champagne towers, a decadent feast and ‘the best party of their lives’ with a further 80 guests for the evening!
Total romance filled The Mowbray! Beautiful soft spring florals lined our feasting tables, with an ambient glow from twinkling candlelight, setting the scene for a super luxurious day of drinking, feasting and great times.. Felicity stunned guests in her vintage inspired gown and veil matched with super luxe spring florals by Swallows and Damsons.
A Decadent Feast
Felicity and Pete lavished their guests with the ultimate foodie celebration, The Laden Table. Served in plentitude over our 3 magnificent feasting tables.
Mowbray bread & house butter, pulled British pork terrine with house pickles potted
smoked salmon, burrata, preserved & fresh tomatoes.
THE MAIN EVENT
Chargrilled Yorkshire 32 day dry aged Picanha steak dressed with salsa verde, whole roasted fish with lemon & herbs and soft potato gnocchi baked with tomatoes, capers & basil topped with crispy garlic pangrattato.
Sprouting broccoli with hazelnut butter, pickled mushrooms tossed with radicchio & Spenwood sheep’s cheese and indulgently creamy potato gratin.
Orange and cardamon custard tart & rosewater and pistachio, and rhubarb pavlova.
Plus a charming sweet treat of Mowbray Scent Ganache: The glorious scent of The Mowbray, custom made for us by Essence + Alchemy distilled into a square of silky dark chocolate ganache. The Mowbray Kitchen used smoked tea, rose & house-grown geraniums to capture our essence.

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding, the day ran perfectly, the venue was stunning and the guests said the food was some of the best they have ever eaten (we will certainly be coming back to eat at one of the Supper Clubs) - thank you to the incredible chefs! On the day all the staff worked non stop to ensure all guests were happy and everything was going as it should. We wish we could do it all again- thankyou from the bottom of our hearts.
