"From the intimate nature of the Chimney House to the atmospheric setting and feel of the Mowbray, we knew as soon as we walked in that we weren’t going to need to look anywhere else.
The entire planning process with the team was easy, Lucy and Emma made us feel at ease and were so attentive and of course ridiculously competent. By the time the big day rolled around we had no concerns at all. Everything was absolutely taken care of. Something which made a huge difference and made the planning so smooth is fact that so much is taken care of in house, this takes off the added pressure of coordinating all the elements or vendors leading up to the day.
From the moment we each arrived at the Chimney House, all our nerves completely disappeared and all we felt was excitement and love. This was the theme of the entire day for us and our family and loved ones.
That we could just purely enjoy the day and all the wonderful craziness a wedding brings with it (it all goes so fast) is a massive testament to the team. It was so so seamless. We’ve heard from so many of the guests that it was one of the best days of their life, the best wedding food they’ve had, the best experience at a wedding. We of course echo the sentiment!
I have to do a special shout out to the chefs and the kitchen. We had a few dietary requirements, and one of my family members is very restricted in what he can eat. The kitchen worked wonders and he said it’s the best meal he’s eaten in years and he was so touched at how much care they put in for one person. I think this shows the ethos of the team more than anything. They want everyone to have a special day.
Oh and the homemade focaccia and baked cheesecake for dessert, just glorious."
