Ruth & Chris Say
"Attempting to put into words just how incredible The Mowbray, The Chimney House and all their wonderful, talented staff are - it’s a near impossible task, but I’m going to give it a go!
These venues are truly unique, the buildings have so much soul, and attention to every detail is just perfect. From the beautiful Sheffield-made cutlery, the tables made from old gym floors to the antique vases and candlesticks, and of course, the beautiful Art Deco lighting! They even have the most beautiful incense that’s unique to the venues! Everything was just to our taste and we couldn’t resist- our wedding had to be here!
To top it all off the food was just divine, our guests loved it, and so many commented that it’s the best food they’d ever had at a wedding and I couldn’t agree more!
The staff are just so lovely. Lucy looked after us throughout our wedding planning journey and, not only is she clearly an absolute pro at what she does, she’s just the nicest, most down to earth person. I felt so comfortable and relaxed about everything, knowing I was in safe hands. Georgina and her team looked after us on the day of the wedding, and again, she was just fantastic, everything was perfectly timed and organised, and we didn’t need to worry about a thing.
I cannot express enough how magical our wedding was, we would recommend The Mowbray and The Chimney House to anyone seeking an utterly unique experience that you and your guests will remember forever.’
