The Bride & Groom's Love List
We spent a magical day and night with Claire & Lee. Fun, poignant, beautiful and filled with incredible friends and family for 49 guests in the day and up to 100 guests in the evening. This was a super relaxed wedding with a exceptional spirit and heart - beautifully captured by Jon at S6 Photography. The weather was lovely so our guests used the roof terrace for dusky drinks and the Bride & Groom for some super romantic photography in 'The Mowbray Golden Glow'.
Claire and Lee got married at The Chimney House in front of a beautiful wild flower and candlelit alter and after the ceremony sipped back on cold beers before a glorious dried flower confetti haze outside our iconic building. Be sure to check out the gorgeous ceremony photos HERE
The wedding party then headed over to The Mowbray for an enchanting evening...
A real food lovers menu - Claire and Lee choose The Laden Table which is bursting full of vibrancy and flavour - accompanied by freshly shaken Margaritas - of course..!
We styled the feasting tables with wild and beautiful stems and plenty of antique brass candlesticks. Each place setting had a sprig of fragrant wild lavender. As ever The Mowbray essence was burning just as a sensory note in the background.

Chargrilled Yorkshire Dales lamb cutlets with preserved lemon & thyme and Soft potato gnocchi baked with tomatoes, capers & basil topped with crispy garlic pangrattato
Sprouting broccoli with garlic & chilli, Summer salad of radicchio, pecorino, Yorkshire buttermilk ranch dressing & croutes, UK Grown Carrots & Confit Beetroot roasted with Thyme & Garlic
FOLLOWED BY PUDDING
Peach Melba Pav and Apricot and Marmalade Frangipane - followed by a sweet treat from the Kitchen.
An Evening Feast
We served up our famous 'Workshop Bites' for Claire and Lee's evening guests - which are inspired by The Mowbray’s original use as a Steel and Iron Merchants. Our Summer selection starred Grilled aubergine & courgette rolled up with whipped feta and pork & fennel sausage roll with black garlic mayo.
