Our Weekend
Hosted across the dreamy candlelit interiors of The Mowbray, The Chimney House and our brand newly restored beauty of a building, Victoria, for a buzzing hive of all things lovely to inspire you for your wedding day. Our venues are a stone's throw away from each other in Neepsend - which means you can float between the three - come on either day or both and experience the full magic.
Get caught up in the romance and fun of these buildings and the joy they bring - have a relaxed wander around, join us for lunch, coffee and cocktails and take some time to chat with us about celebrating your day in 2025 and 2026/27!

Explore Fiona’s world of floral jewels including her coveted new range of rings for weddings, engagement & celebrations. With a passion for creating unique and sustainable jewellery that is inspired by nature, Fiona’s organic jewellery collections have grown from over 12 years of developing her craft at the workbench.
Laura’s approach helps to ensure a relaxed experience from the initial booking to the big day. Laura is passionate about her natural, minimal style, accentuating the bride’s favourite features whilst making sure they still look and feel like themselves. Laura will be available across the weekend for hair and makeup advice and will be leading her own makeup demo's with her 'bride to be models' so you can see in person what to expect for your special day.
Wedding celebrant Helen writes and performs ceremonies that are personal, warm and funny. Not only do they create a magical start to your special day but they will wow you and your guests. Helen will be available on Sunday for drop in 1:1 consultations on writing your wedding vows!
Mirlah is a relaxed wedding photographer who specialises in capturing weddings where fun and colour are the vibe. Not into posing? She's got you, love candid photos, that's her Jam. Mirlah will be around to chat to you about how she can capture your day. From the big moments, the details and the epic party on the dance floor.
Kate Beaumont designs and makes understatedly beautiful wedding dresses from her working studio here in Sheffield. Working with luxurious silks and laces, Kate's dresses are a dream to wear. Kate will be bringing along a selection of her sumptuous gowns to The Mowbray, along with samples of newly created lingerie that she's created from repurposed leftover silks - pure luxury!
Jamie will be helping to capture the weekend with us while showcasing her content creation offerings - enjoy the freedom of a phone-free wedding whilst The Social Wedding captures candid, authentic moments that truly reflect your special day. From heartfelt vows to unforgettable dance floor moments, we will create a stunning collection of wedding day highlights, perfect for sharing on social media - unedited photos and videos and a professionally edited highlight reel, perfect for Instagram & TikTok, just hours after your wedding.
Cat will be inspiring you through beautiful seasonal blooms just perfect for your event and big day.

Claire is an inclusive and modern, Humanist celebrant, passionate about creating a relaxed, elegant and fun ceremony that fits you perfectly.
Every ceremony is tailor-made to tell your story, so it's authentically 'you' and adds a little more heart, a little more sparkle and a lot more fun along the way.
Claire work closely with you to make sure that the ceremony is the beating heart of your day. Claire will be giving a talk on how to have an alternative ceremony that's personalised and full of life as well as 'how to write your vows' takeaways throughout the day.
Timothy Peters BMus (Hons) is a tenor, conductor and composer. In both of these roles his main goal is to keep music accessible, exciting and original. He does this through frequent collaboration with relevant artists and constant research into direct and indirect phenomena that will enhance a musical experience.? Tim will also be serenading the weekend with a beautiful piano set.
Tweed & Groom offers tuxedo opulence, relaxed country tweeds or fashion cut tailoring. If you have grand ambitions for your wedding style - they will ensure you are dressed to impress. The White Yard, located in historic Ironworks, provides unique bridal gowns for deluxe city vibes or relaxed boho dreams. Gowns are always unique, they never settle for cookie cutter style. Jacob Gourley - Live Wedding Paintings
Working predominantly in oils and acrylics, Jacob Gourley is a representational painter whose practice explores the boundaries between realism and abstraction. His paintings often have a dream-like quality, whereby figures dissolve into or emerge out of semi-ambiguous backgrounds. Jacob will be painting over the course of the weekend to demonstrate his beautiful live wedding painting process
With their classic 50s / 60s Volkswagen beetles and campervans, Vintage VolksWeddings have been delivering brides and grooms to the doors of The Mowbray (and The Chimney House) for a few years now. The vehicles look right at home parked outside these beautiful buildings! Throughout the weekend you’ll be able to chat about all things transport related, snap some photos in their photobooth and hitch a lift between Victoria, The Mowbray and The Chimney House in their wedding car!
Chloe will be capturing the weekend and showcasing her content creation services - always ensuring your day reflects you in a more authentic way, capturing the real, raw, and beautiful moments—the laughter, the tears, the imperfections that make your day genuinely yours. Equipped solely with her iPhone (and sometimes nostalgic 90's camera), Chloe captures genuine moments and emotions, transcending mere documentation to the storytelling process, providing a genuine behind-the-scenes perspective of your special day.?

Danni Maytree, a Yorkshire-based photographer, creates a blend of artistic candids with a pinch of natural and stylish portraits. Danni crafts images that not only please the eyes but also stir the soul. Beyond capturing the big moments, she zeroes in on the subtleties—the fleeting expressions, impromptu reactions, and off-the-cuff exchanges between couples and their guests, because that’s where the real magic happens.
